Invite students to explore magnetism by learning about magnetic properties and how magnets can attract objects from a distance. In this hands-on engineering challenge, learners design and build their own mazes that can be solved using a set of magnets to guide their way through the pathways. As they test and refine their designs—and invite classmates to try and “beat” their mazes—students deepen their understanding of magnetic force, creativity, and problem-solving in an interactive experience that quickly becomes a class favorite.
