How do I get my lessons after I buy?
Right after checkout you’ll get a download link on screen and by email, and every purchase stays in your account library to re-download anytime.
How do membership picks work?
Each month your plan gives you 3, 6, or 12 picks. Open any lesson and click “Unlock with a pick.” It’s added to your library instantly.
What format are your digital lessons in?
All lessons are delivered as digital downloads right after purchase. No shipping, no waiting. Lessons include a teacher or facilitator guide, a materials list, and the student challenge brief. Print or display digitally. Your choice.
What’s the difference between a full digital lesson and a mini lesson?
Full digital lessons are complete STEAM challenges designed for a full class session (45–90 minutes). Mini lessons are shorter versions of the same challenge, typically 20–30 minutes, built for independent work. Ideal for families, after-school, events, or teachers trying the format for the first time.
Do the lessons align with Next Generation Science Standards?
Yes. Each lesson guide includes a standards alignment section identifying the applicable standards for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics.
Can I use these lessons at home or for homeschool?
Absolutely. The materials lists use common household and classroom supplies, so nothing specialized or expensive is required. Many homeschool families start with our mini lessons.
Can my whole school or district get access?
Yes. If you’re a principal, curriculum director, or district coordinator, contact us about school-wide licensing so every teacher gets access without individual purchases.
How do memberships work?
Pick Starter, Creator, or Innovator and you get 3, 6, or 12 lessons of your choice every month. Lessons you download are yours to keep. Cancel anytime.
Do you travel to rural South Dakota schools?
Yes! Rural communities are exactly who we built Dakota STEAM Learning for. We’ve visited Murdo, Kadoka, Philip, Martin, Fort Pierre, Rapid City, and surrounding areas. If your district isn’t on the list, contact us. Distance is not a barrier.
How many times can we book you in one school year?
Book the Innovate Package once or up to 12 times. One visit gives teachers 1.5 hours of planning time per grade level; a full-year partnership gives each grade level 18 hours.
Do you ship STEAM kits?
Kits are currently available for pickup in the Rapid City area. Contact us about availability elsewhere.
