Engineer STEAM challenge
Inspired by Mo Willems’ “Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus,” students are challenged to design a vehicle that the Pigeon is finally allowed to drive! After exploring the features of vehicles, including wheels and axles, learners use their creativity and engineering skills to build a vehicle that can travel the greatest distance possible. Students love watching their Pigeon travel in style, making this lesson both engaging and memorable!
Engagement Kits are designed for large-scale engagement nights. These kits make hosting a STEAM event easy for coordinators and staff. Kits include: steam challenge(s), all necessary materials, a lesson plan, participant print options, projection options, student examples for reference, guided videos, and setup instructions. Marketing resources can be added for an additional fee. Pricing varies based on the expected number of participants. Engagement kits are available for 50+ participants.
