Engineer STEAM challenge
Inspired by the story “Pete the Cat and His Magic Sunglasses,” students embark on a creative journey to design their own wearable light filters. By exploring the science of light filtration and drawing inspiration from real-life glasses and goggles, learners invent fun and functional ways to filter the light entering their eyes. Students love the excitement of wearing their unique creations, making this lesson both educational and memorable!
Engagement Kits are designed for large-scale engagement nights. These kits make hosting a STEAM event easy for coordinators and staff. Kits include: steam challenge(s), all necessary materials, a lesson plan, participant print options, projection options, student examples for reference, guided videos, and setup instructions. Marketing resources can be added for an additional fee. Pricing varies based on the expected number of participants. Engagement kits are available for 50+ participants.
