Engineering STEAM challenge
Bring a little seasonal magic to your STEAM time with this playful engineering challenge inspired by How to Catch a Witch. After reading the story, students take on the task the characters could not complete: designing a humane trap to lure and safely capture a witch without causing harm. As they plan, build, test, and improve their designs, students practice creative problem-solving, collaboration, and the engineering design process. This imaginative, hands-on challenge is a student favorite and a fun addition to fall or Halloween-themed learning.
Engagement Kits are designed for large-scale engagement nights. These kits make hosting a STEAM event easy for coordinators and staff. Kits include: steam challenge(s), all necessary materials, a lesson plan, participant print options, projection options, student examples for reference, guided videos, and setup instructions. Marketing resources can be added for an additional fee. Pricing varies based on the expected number of participants. Engagement kits are available for 50+ participants.

Pricing varies based on the number of students/participants. These kits are suitable for classes and groups of 10-49 participants.

Individual STEAM Kits are perfect for individual learners and small groups. Each personalized, ready-to-go kit includes: a student page outlining the STEAM challenge, student drafting pages, guided videos when needed, and all essential materials. Individual Kits are ideal for families, small groups, and as extension activities for individual learners.
