Engineering STEAM challenge
Bring ancient history to life as students explore the legendary story of the Trojan Horse! In this inventive engineering challenge, learners are inspired by a clever strategy from Greek history to design their own hidden transport systems. Students brainstorm ways to camouflage and conceal “soldiers,” then engineer models that can move their figures without being seen. Through problem-solving, creativity, and a bit of historical intrigue, students combine engineering and storytelling, resulting in a memorable activity that blends history, motion, and design in a way they’ll never forget.
Engagement Kits are designed for large-scale engagement nights. These kits make hosting a STEAM event easy for coordinators and staff. Kits include: steam challenge(s), all necessary materials, a lesson plan, participant print options, projection options, student examples for reference, guided videos, and setup instructions. Marketing resources can be added for an additional fee. Pricing varies based on the expected number of participants. Engagement kits are available for 50+ participants.
