Engineering STEAM challenge
Invite students to take their bridge engineering skills to the next level as they explore hanging bridges, including suspension and cable-stayed designs. In this advanced challenge, learners investigate how cables, towers, and anchor points work together to distribute weight and enable bridges to span long distances over waterways. Students are then tasked with designing and building their own hanging bridge that can safely support a car crossing. This more complex build is perfect as an extension beyond standing bridge projects or as a greater challenge for older students, and the hands-on testing quickly becomes a class favorite.
Engagement Kits are designed for large-scale engagement nights. These kits make hosting a STEAM event easy for coordinators and staff. Kits include: steam challenge(s), all necessary materials, a lesson plan, participant print options, projection options, student examples for reference, guided videos, and setup instructions. Marketing resources can be added for an additional fee. Pricing varies based on the expected number of participants. Engagement kits are available for 50+ participants.

Individual STEAM Kits are perfect for individual learners and small groups. Each personalized, ready-to-go kit includes: a student page outlining the STEAM challenge, student drafting pages, guided videos when needed, and all essential materials. Individual Kits are ideal for families, small groups, and as extension activities for individual learners.
